Dear , We are pleased that the outcome of the YISHAM scholarship to
attend the next ISHAM congress 3-8 May 2015 in Melbourne, Australia has
been announced; 42 scholarships have been awarded and 21 applicants are on the
reserve list. Awardees will be contacted during the next days to arrange
their participation in the congress. |

itraconazole on the WHO essential
medicines list. Surprisingly the essential medicines list does
not have any triazole with antifungal activity. |

The first workshop on antifungal
susceptibility testing in the routine laboratory will be held
in the Turkish language in Ankara, Turkey, on 28 February, 2015. The program

For a study on global
epidemiology of dermatophytes, Microsporum canis, Trichophyton
violaceum and Trichophyton schoenleinii strains are needed from less-accessible
areas of the world. Isolates with detailed background information are welcome

KnowledgeBank'. It’s free! This has been developed jointly by the University of
Manchester and Gilead Sciences.

The 9th European Meeting on Molecular Diagnostics (EMMD
2015) will be held October 14-16, 2015 in Noordwijk aan Zee, The Netherlands. The meeting will be covering
the full spectrum of Human Molecular Diagnostics with a strong emphasis on new technological developments and novel clinical applications.
