Dear , last chance for new members to vote!
It has come to our attention that a substantial number of new members have not been able to vote. This was a direct result of our having to submit the membership list of 18th March 2015 to allow the necessary checks to take place in good time for the poll to open on April 1st.
Council has considered the matter and has, in the interests of the membership, agreed to allow a second but last round of invitations to give new members the chance to vote.
Invitations will be sent on Monday 27th April to those who:-
- are paid up members by Friday 17th April at 12:00 GMT
- have supplied their full name, proper email address and membership number
- but have so far been unable to vote
The list will then be checked by the Treasurer, signed off and submitted to the polling organisation and only those not on the original list will be sent an invitation by Electoral Reform Services.
The ballot will remain open 24 hours a day until midnight (Central European Time) on Thursday 30th April 2015.
