The next Spring Course of Medical Mycology of the Institut Pasteur will be held in Paris, 21 March-15 April, 2016. The course will be taught in English and is aimed to microbiologists (MDs, PhDs and veterinarians) with previous practice in a medical mycology laboratory. Application deadline is 1st November, 2015. An interdisciplinary discussion meeting entitled 'Optimizing Outcomes in Invasive Fungal Infections' will be held in San Diego, U.S.A., on 6 October, 2015. All information can be found here.

A meeting 'Histoplasmosis in the Americas and the Caribbean' will be organized in Paramaribo, Surinam, 4-6 December, 2015. Click here for the flyer and this is the contact address.

The CBS Course Foodborne and Indoor Fungi is organized in Utrecht, The Netherlands, 10-14 October, 2016. Directly hereafter, 17-28 October, the CBS Course Medical Mycology will start. Both courses combine classical phenotypic and molecular identification methods and provide insight into recent nomenclatural changes. Information will be provided soon on the CBS website.

The dermatophyte section of the CBS Course Medical Mycology will be an open event co-organized by the Scientia Academy, to explain the recent fundamental changes in systematics of cutaneous and systemic fungi. This hands-on meeting is scheduled on 28 October, 2016. On 29 October, a Workshop will be organized by the ISHAM Working Group Dermatophytes. Information will be provided soon on the CBS website.
