ISHAM NEWS! (02-03-2016)

Dear , A workshop on hospital infections is organized in Essen, Germany, 29-30 April, 2016. More information.

ISHAM welcomes a new Working Group on Aspergillus Resistance Surveillance. This working group is coordinated by Paul Verweij, Katrien Lagrou, Anuradha Chowdhary and Shaun Lockhart. Given the global dimensions of azole resistance in Aspergillus fumigatus and recommendations for resistance surveillance by governmental organizations, we aim to set up a network of centers that collect azole resistance data in Aspergillus systematically and using a standardized protocol. Centers that are interested to participate in this network can send an e-mail to paul.verweij@radboudumc.nl.
