Registration for the workshop of the ISHAM Working Group on Black Yeasts in Ljubljana, Slovenia, 14-16 May, 2010 (Invitation) is now open: click here. The program has an exciting mix of clinical and ecological topics. 

The Nordic Society for Medical Mycology (NSMM) will organize its 7th scientific meeting “Clinical Consequences of Host Fungus Interactions” on March 18, 2010 in Oslo, Norway. A program will soon be available here.

Prior to the above meeting, a NSMM One-Day Basic Course in Medical Mycology is held in Oslo, 17 March 2010.

A new Thesis has been published by Raman Manoharlal on multidrug resistance gene(s) of Candida albicans. You can freely download this book in your member area under Mycological Theses

Your application will be processed as rapidly as possible. On admission to membership you will be required to pay your first year's subscription fee (currently $50.00 US). You will then receive the current year's issues of Medical Mycology, regular e-mailed ISHAM news alerts and ISHAM-SOS service, have access to the ISHAM member forum and all other correspondence for members. You will also be entitled to vote at the ISHAM General Assembly.

In case your circumstances make it difficult to afford the subscription fee, a special fund (The Carolyn Halden Fund) exists to provide member's subscriptions for one or two years. Please explain your situation to the General Secretary.
