Dear , The 8th International Conference on Cryptococcus and Cryptococcosis (8th ICCC) will be held at the Francis Marion Hotel in Charleston, South Carolina, U.S.A., May 1-5, 2011. Details of the meeting will be finalized soon and will be available on the conference web site here.

The program of the Interdisciplinary Forum on Superficial Fungal Infections in Jena, Germany, 11-13 October, 2010 is now fully set. All information is available at the International Agenda at the ISHAM website, and a flyer is posted here.

A course on medical mycology will be organized at Research Center for Medical Mycology, Peking University, Beijing, China, 23-27 November, 2010. The course will be partly Chinese and partly in English. For information, Here or contact Prof. Ruo-yu Li, lry0660@gmail.com.

The 27th International Congress of Chemotherapy (ICC) will be held in Milan, Italy, 7-10 May 2011, in conjunction with the 21st ECCMID and co-hosted by ESCMID. The preliminary program can be found here here.

A meeting in the Disease Management Series (DMS) on Fungal Infections will be held in Calcutta, India, 24–25 November 2010. The meeting is organised by the ISC Working Group on Fungal Infections and will take place in conjunction with the annual conference of the Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists (IAMM). The ISHAM Working Groups on Chromoblastomycosis and on Black Yeasts will organize a joint meeting in Curitiba, Brazil, 1-4 December, 2011. The title of the meeting is “Black Yeast: Hidden Danger, Bright Promise”, referring to the dual ecology of these organisms, including medical aspects and beneficial applications. The 12th Western Pacific Congress on Chemotherapy and Infectious Diseases will be held in Singapore, 2-5 December 2010, under the title ”New Pathogens, New Challenges”. The congress is organised by the Society of Infectious Diseases Singapore in collaboration with the International Society of Chemotherapy and the Western Pacific Society of Chemotherapy. An International Meeting on Emerging Diseases and Surveillance (IMED 2011) is organized in Vienna, Austria, 4-7 February, 2011. Information can be found at the website here.  

The 8th international symposium on Antimicrobial Agents and Resistance (ISAAR 2011) will take place in Seoul, South Korea, 6-8 April 2011 under the theme of “Advancing solutions to evolving resistance”. The congress brings together leading scientists and researchers from all over the world to Seoul to share information and updated knowledge on antimicrobial resistance, antimicrobial treatment and vaccines.
