Dear , The website of the symposium “Power of Fungi and Mycotoxins in Health and Disease”, which will be held in Primošten, Croatia, 19-22, October 2011, is now available, click here. There will be several sessions on medical mycology and pathology in addition to those on mycotoxins.

The ISHAM-affiliated Mycology Study Group (MSG) has launched CME-credited interactive tool entitled “Innovations in Diagnosis and Management of Invasive Fungal Infections”. For information and participation, click here.

The CBS-KNAW Fungal Biodiversity Centre organizes a meeting on modern fungal nomenclature entitled “One Fungus – One Name”, briefly 1F = 1N, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands 19-21 April, 2011 . There will also be topics on medical fungi. For information and registration, click here.

The 47th Annual Scientific Meeting of the British Society for Medical Mycology (BSMM) will be held in Glasgow, Scotland, 17-19 April, 2011. A website will open soon.

The 21st ECCMID congress (European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases) will take place in Milan, Italy, 7-12 May, 2011. Information and program can be found here here. This major congress on microbiology will also harbor a number of sessions on medical mycology.
