ISHAM NEWS! (11-03-2011)
Dear , Are you aware of the fact that the ISHAM
International Agenda see here is the
world’s largest overview of events in medical mycology? Today the list of
congresses, workshops and courses contains 45 items.
The ISHAM Working Group on black yeasts organizes its
third meeting in Curitiba, Brazil, 1-4 December, 2011. There will be strong
accent on medical melanized fungi, such as the agents of
chromoblastomycosis. The website http://www.blackyeast.org/ is now open for registration.
The School of
Medical Sciences at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, U.K. has several job opportunities, see here; the University of Amsterdam, The
Netherlands, searches an ecologist, see here.
A conference on probiotics and prebiotics will be organized in Kosice, Slovakia, 14-16
June, 2011; information can be found here.
Two new issues of
the journal Medical Mycology have been published: volume 49 issues 1 and
