The "Dr Ira F Salkin Memorial Award" was created to honor the memory of Ira Salkin, who was the Editor-in-Chief of one of the ISHAM journals, Medical Mycology, from 2003-2015. The award was made possible by the generosity of Kay Salkin and her family.
The award will recognise the best original publication in Medical Mycology by a member of Young ISHAM.
Applications for the 2020 round are now open. Deadline is on the 31st of January 2021
