It is our great pleasure to invite you to attend the 17th INFOCUS that this year will run in parallel with the 1st ISHAM Latin America Congress in Salvador, between November 14 and 16, 2019. Over the last 16 years, INFOCUS has become the most comprehensive scientific forum for discussion of Medical Mycology in our region. We are in debt with ISHAM, ICHS and CDC for their excellent contributions to the INFOCUS scientific program as well as for supporting the participation of speakers in our meeting.

Along this meeting you will have the opportunity to interact with a large number of opinion leaders and highly qualified speakers from different countries. Our speakers will offer you an overview of the new trends and developments on the field of epidemiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and clinical management of fungal infections highly prevalent in our region.

Considering that Salvador is a historical city with beautiful nature and a truly welcoming people, coupled with excellent gastronomy, we expect INFOCUS -2019 to be a resounding success.
