The ISHAM Young Investigator award is given to a member of Young ISHAM who has made a significant contribution to their field and shows promise as a future key opinion leader. Nominations should be made by their mentors or supervisors and applications are judged by an independent panel.
Two are awarded, one in basic mycology and one in clinical mycology. The award consists of a cash prize, a travel grant to attend the ISHAM congress and a certificate. Recipients are invited to give a short lecture at the ISHAM Congress.
Please note that you must be nominated by your supervisor or laboratory head for this award - you cannot nominate yourself.
Nominations will be opened close to the next ISHAM Congress.
