Malassezia Annual Report 2017

The objectives of the working group are to:

1. Exchange and coordinate fundamental, epidemiological, and clinical research on Malassezia
2. Discuss and set clinical standards on, for example, diagnostis and susceptibility testing
3. Establish and maintain contact with the international Malassezia genome research consortium
4. Write joint publications
5. Organise meetings and sessions at congresses as appropriate

The working group have published or contributed to various publications (see below).

After the ISHAM 2018 congress, the working group held a meeting at the Westerdijk Institute to discuss the future of the working group and also its relationship to the Malassezia Research Consortium.  It was decided to merge the two groups and a report of the workshop can be found here, as well as a photo of the participants.
